Prepare coursework on an organisation within ONE of the following industry sectors:
• Manufacture of computers and peripheral equipment
• Manufacture of consumer electronics
• Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations
• Banks
• Mining and Quarrying
This coursework should assess the impact of external business environment factors on the organisation and evaluate the organisations position and response. An organisations activities may range beyond the designated industrial sector in which case the fours of your coursework must be on the organisations activities within the designated sector.
Task 1 – give a brief overview of the primary external influence to which the organisation is subject and briefly explain the particular importance of each to the organisation. This first task should contribute no more than one third of your overall reports.
Task 2 – choose ONE of the following themes:
