Personal Leadership Assessment: This 600-800 word essay will provide an assessment of current personal leadership skills, traits and leader ambitions. Based on the readings to-date, assess your own personal traits as they relate to your ability to supervise and to lead. What skills do you currently possess? What traits have you come across in the reading that resonate with you, and how do you rate currently with respect to your understanding of leadership development. What skills, traits, values and styles did you read about and can relate to, and where are you currently with regards to the readings?
This activity is intended to enable you to take an introspective look at your own current leadership state/style and then to be able to forecast a future desired state of leadership ability, where your gaps are and what you think you need to do to fill the gaps, or to reach that future desired state. Additionally, where do you think you would like to use your leadership skills in the future?
The majority of your submission should be rooted in your self-assessment, self-reflection and in determining where your gaps are as you see them, and how will you go about filling those gaps.
