the greatest collisions of the twenty-first century” (page 125). Drawing on Keown’s book and Stephen Batchelor’s book Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist, write a short (2-3 pages) essay in which you
describe and evaluate this collision. What is western Buddhism/Buddhism in the west? Why now? Where do you think it’s going and why?
