CHARACTERISTICS OF SCIENCE ANALYSIS
Instructions:-
The eight characteristics of science were presented in Unit 1. They are:
- Empirical.
- Systematic.
- Theoretical.
- Provisional.
- Public.
- Objective.
- Self-reflective.
- Open-ended.
Review each of these characteristics and select four that you are interested in learning more about. In this discussion, you will analyze how each of these characteristics are demonstrated, or not demonstrated, in the Baronet study as explained in the article “The Impact of Family Relations on Caregivers’ Positive and Negative Appraisal of Their Caretaking Activities.” Use specific examples to substantiate your analysis.
Prior to posting, take some time and read the Comprehensive Exam Rubric: Analysis and Critical Thinking and its accompanying explanation. This is part of the comprehensive examination rubric that is used when you get to the comprehensive examination phase. It evaluates your ability to think critically. As you compose your post for this discussion, keep in mind the expectations of a good piece of analytical writing.
