1. Photograph and Label the Crime Scene as Discovered
Photograph the crime scene and import your photographs into powerpoint. Label all the bones and any
other items you find at scene.

Collect the bones and lay them out for proper arrangement for the human body and photograph the skeleton with your cell phone. Import the photograph into powerpoint. Label all the bones for your
victim or victims.
In your photograph be sure to specify the difference between left and right.
Determine how many bones were recovered for each victim or victims. Bones and The Tales They Tell
Write up a 1-2 page report about your crime scene. Present a plausible explanation as to who you think the victim was based on the clues left behind. Also explain what you would do next if you were
the homicide detective assigned to the case. For example. if the victim is traveling maybe you would ask for a passenger manifesto of the airline. o Questions or ideas that need to be addressed are
How many victims were there and how do you know this
What was the gender of the victims and what bones lead you to the gender identity. If there weren’t any bones available to determine the gender
what clues at the scene allowed you to hypothesize the sex of the victim.
