Order Description

Read the “John Jones” essay. defend what letter grade you think the essay deserves. You should argue for A, B, C, D, or F

If you argue for A or F, you will have one counter-argument.

If you argue for a B,C, or D, you will have two.

In your defense of the letter grade, Examine the structure of the introductory paragraph including the placement of the thesis. Examine the structure of the body paragraphs including the claims. Refer to good/bad use of rhetorical devices where appropriate.

Every other element of the essay’s content is fair game for discussion. Of course, this includes grammar, syntax, clarity, violation of the ten most common errors, etc.
