Analyze a piece called the Piano Sonata no. 14 in C minor, K457 in 1st movement by Mozart and the things that we need to analyze on is 3 performance practice issues (tempo, dynamics and
articulation) from 6 different performers (2 period, 2 modern, 2 historical) who play the same piece and we need to compare the differences and how it will affect the way in which you will be
performing the piece in an historically-informed manner. We need to find ways to explain what 6 performers had in mind or why they chose to perform in that particular way. And we must share our
personal impressions of the recordings. And last but not least we need to answer this question as a conclusion, which is what do music recordings not tell us about a work?
