You are required to briefly describe policy development at professional level compared to those at not-for-profit level, in particular grass roots/community sport. Choose one Australian NSO and critically analyse the policies that apply at the very top of the particular sport through to grass roots/community level. Examine how the policy changes, particularly as a result of commercial influences.
In this assessment item, you will apply the skills you have learnt in this unit to demonstrate an understanding of how a policy is implemented and how effective an organisation’s policy is from the perspective of all stakeholders of the organisation. Using contemporary research, your aim is to assess, represent and diagnose any potential conflicts, failings, or areas that may be improved.
