Specific Purpose: The purpose of my speech today is to inform you of the different things CVS offer and does for the community around us.

 

Central Idea or Thesis Statement: I’m going to be telling you about the founders and their vision for better healthcare.

CVS had been offering services for more than 50 years.

CVS first opened its doors in 1963 in Lowell, Massachusetts under the name “Consumer Value Store”.

Its founders are brothers Stanley and Sidney Goldstein and Ralph Hoagland.

CVS also offers health care such as the CVS Pharmacy.

CVS pharmacies are also accessible outside of CVS stores, such as places like Target.

You can also get your prescriptions delivered to your home, at work, and even delivered to you when you’re out of town.

CVS is big on serving its customers and doing what’s right for the community.
