discuss the theorist’s major concepts and definitions, then apply the theorist’s concepts to a patient situation from clinical. Patient assessment data, nursing
diagnostic statements (2 physical and 1 deficit knowledge) and a teaching plan will be used to apply the theorist’s concepts. The student will show correct format
using the latest edition of APA(6th ed.) for citations and references, appropriate section headers, double spacing, New Times Roman font and 12 pt font size. College
level grammar and spelling are expected. The paper must include: title page, running heads, table of contents (not in APA book), a brief abstract, appropriate section
headers in the body of the paper, a summary or conclusion, a reference page and appendices to develop the paper using the following criteria that I mentioned.

1. Use the theory textbook to read about King theorist and summarize her work, major concepts and definitions in 1-2 pages.

2. Use the patient’s formation that I uploaded. Write 1-2 page of assessment about this patient’s nursing and medical problems. Develop 2 nursing diagnostic statements
(physical focus) using the King theory as a guide. These must be ACTUAL diagnoses using NANDA format (related to, as evidenced by). (note: be sure your reported
assessment findings support these diagnoses).

3. Develop a “deficient knowledge” teaching plan for this patient, again using the assigned theory, showing how this theory guided the development of the teaching
plan. (note: a typed copy of the teaching plan using the clinical form needs to be placed in an appendix at the end of the paper. Many previous students used/revised a
teaching plan from clinical.)

4. Write a summary or conclusion. (note: the paper should be 5 pages long from the description of the theorist to the end of the summary/conclusion. You can lose
points for too long or too short. Use the rubric as a guide!)

5. Use APA 6th ed. to guide your reference page. (note: if you are using only one chapter from a book, that chapter needs to be correctly referenced. Manuscripts need
to be referenced correctly also.
When you write this paper, write what’s the actual concept of this theorist because you need to apply that concept to the patient information that I uploaded that’s
why only explain the definition. Do not write the information about the theorist like this theorist was born in 1971 blah blah.
Theory guided nursing intervention, conceptualization of nursing, it will either describe, explain, predict or prescribe your nursing care. It gives us prospective in
which the patient’s situation, it’s going to be a way to organize the data, and method for analyzing and interpreting information. Theory is generation of nursing
knowledge it’s going to be use in practice.

Look at APA online it will tell you how many words you can use for the abstract that’s limited by APA format. Appropriate section header in the body of a paper. Use
deficient knowledge for teaching plan (I uploaded sample teaching plan), then write summary or conclusion. Paper should be 5 pages length in total. **Major concept and
definition that 1 to 2 pages in length (write only the name of the theorist and concept), I uploaded the patient information that I want you to use for this order,
read it and use that information to write assessment. Make sure you read all the readings that I posted.
